A major educational and cultural resource for South Florida since its inception in 1926, the Frost School of Music has deep ties to the local community. Through numerous outreach and special programs, funded by our donors, Frost is able to touch the lives of many children in our community.
Donna E. Shalala MusicReach Program: With the support of our donors, Frost School of Music’s innovative MusicReach program collaborates with local public schools, charter schools, and community centers. Graduate students and undergraduate music mentors provide free music lessons and after-school music instruction in economically disadvantaged areas throughout the region.
